Automotive Finance (F&I) Manager | BMW of San Francisco - CA USA

Job Details:
Purpose: • The F&I Manager is responsible for producing additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance products to new and used car customers and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction • Serve as the organization's representative in all activities connected with the financing of new and used vehicles and related products and services to customers, and for the sales of aftermarket products and services
Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensure customers have a positive impression of the F&I contact by ensuring all F&I staff are courteous and establish a professional financial relationship with the customer • Focus the retail facility selling and financing process on qualifying and counseling customers on F&I options and owner care products which fulfill their individual needs • Ensure all customer problems and complaints involving your areas are handled to a satisfactory conclusion in a timely manner. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction as measured by BMW internal customer surveys and by external measures (industry surveys) • Upgrade knowledge of BMW products and services and maintain professional and technical expertise by attending trade shows and/or educational programs, establishing personal network, reviewing industry publications, and participating in professional societies. Use F&I tools and information resources as needed and share information with other employees • Train and coach Client Advisors to properly qualify customers and obtain important information for a successful transition to the financing desk • Support Client Advisors by advising customers early in the sales process, as well as during the successful conclusion of each transaction • Work closely with all departments in the retail facility to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained. Support all staff by performing any other duties which may be assigned from time to time • Support and maintain sales financing philosophies and policies that promote individual employee as well as customer satisfaction • Develop and achieve aggressive sales and profitability goals targeting high lease and retail penetration of F&I products, and high sales of after-purchase products and services • Develop retailer business by creating and implementing effective F&I marketing strategies, advertising, merchandising and promotions • Ensure your area is meeting the established guidelines for profitability by managing expenses and meeting product and services sales targets • Ensure competitive market position and profit/return on investment/equity
Qualifications: • Must have current sales license • College degree preferred or equivalent experience • Three Years Automotive or Finance Sales experience • Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures • Prior experience or training in vehicle sales or finance preferred. Customer contact experience required. • Working knowledge or trainable in automotive retail center computer systems, (R/R computer system preferred, as well as proficiency in the use of Excel and Word programs • Computer knowledge preferred • Excellent communication, mathematical, managerial and organizational skills • Highly self-motivated and a self-starter • Ability to interpret material provided by management and other sources. Excellent verbal/written communication and organization skills • Technically knowledgeable, experienced, or trainable on BMW product line • Outgoing and patient personality with good customer relation's ability • Professional personal appearance • Excellent verbal/written communication skills..
