Job Details:
SharePoint Developer: You will join the defence practice of a leading IT consultancy, working within a team that enhances and maintains a key defence application. You will be tasked with developing the portal, which is based around SharePoint. It consumes data provided by the SOA service layer.

+ Participating in the design of the system for the next stage of the project including making high level design decisions;
+ Create designs and able to clearly explain the planned solution to other team members and represent the design in design reviews ;
+ Write design specifications that capture the key design choices including any patterns applied, and describe the solution in enough detail to allow implementation and test;
+ Maintaining and updating existing pages and forms;
+ Designing, implementing and testing new pages and forms and related features;
+ Working closely with the SOA service developers to integrate the portal with the service layer;
+ Supporting the integration of the solution in the Team Excalibur test environment;
Mandatory requirements:
+ Experience of SharePoint 2010 administration and development (at least 2 years recent experience);
+ FAST Search for SharePoint configuration, building search connectors to index custom data (XML), custom search forms;
+ Knowledge of team sites and publishing sites;
+ Building master pages, page layouts and web templates;
+ Visual Studio 2010;
+ Strong knowledge of C# including ASP .Net;
+ Experience building custom controls, web parts and .aspx forms;
+ JQuery;
+ CSS;
+ Quick learner, able to understand both the solution and the domain.
+ Design patterns, especially MVP;
+ PowerShell;
+ JavaScript;
+ Ajax;
+ DHTMLX grid and tree controls;
+ WCF;
+ Jenkins.
Due to the nature of the end client you will be required to hold SC Clearance or higher or be clearable
