Job Details:
Performs technical material planning and process work for the facility. Works closely with the other departments to establish engineering processes ensuring completeness and accuracy. Work is performed under limited supervision with moderate latitude. Position relies on experience and exercises independent judgment to determine the best approach by using and interpreting policies and procedures.

*. Creates and maintains engineering masters used to create work orders; updates cycle time for machining operations
*. Schedules, prints and releases work orders and other necessary documentati on to control the sequence of operations during manufacturi ng; verifies accuracy of paperwork upon printing
*. Monitors inventory levels of current stock; plans vendor- managed inventory for parts to ensure stock requirement s are fulfilled
*. Works with the Methods department to create and develop supporting documentati on for the manufacturi ng process (i.e. models, drawings, and inspection documentati on)
*. Updates part revisions and work orders per Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) in the Visual Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
*. Reviews the production schedule and verifies that required materials are available and approved by the Quality department
*. Evaluates suppliers based on price, quality, availability, service support, reliability and selection
*. Discusses defective goods with inspection or quality control personnel, suppliers, and others to determine the origin and take corrective action MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED; supplemented by three or more years’ material planning or process technician experience; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.
*. Advanced knowledge of Visual ERP and work order and process creation
*. Working knowledge of the principles and methods of effective project management
*. General knowledge and understandi ng of ISO 13485 and FDA 21CFR820 as it pertains to the job
*. Skilled in the use of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, SolidWorks software, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
*. Skilled in basic math including but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplicatio n, division, geometric construction, practical algebra and metrics..
