Job Details:
As the Group’s strong presence in the global Cocoa market and integration along the entire value chain necessitate robust Transfer Pricing models, we do prefer candidates who have previous experience in this industry and with past exposure in interacting with policymakers and tax authorities to provide meaningful input on the impact of any changes in Transfer Pricing for this commodity.
Essential Responsibilities
40% time-allocation for the next two years to a Group Tax function transformation project (Project FOX). This project will align our global processes to support the business in a more meaningful way, therefore experience in reviewing global finance and tax processes is essential
Coordinate and implement transfer pricing related activities and ensure compliance and completeness of related transfer pricing documentation.
Develop and implement global tax concepts in coordination with the Group Tax function and the regional finance teams, in line with applicable domestic laws and regulations and Group Tax policies.
Supporting all regions in the controlling and analysis of income tax reporting including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Actively monitor and analyse tax policy changes by governments and international bodies such as OECD, UN and provide Head Group Tax with meaningful inputs on the impact on the Group tax strategy and position with a particular focus on commodities, especially cocoa.
Contribute to the tax and legal structuring for M&A activities
Supervise and support finance teams in the Regions in preparation and maintenance of proper tax documentation in all entities/ branches
Actively identify, monitor and report tax risks and opportunities and propose, contribute to and execute tax strategies in co-operation with the Group Tax function
Continuously follow-up, report and optimize the legal group structure together with the local F&A and legal departments
Manage local tax projects and filings including coordination of tax consultants and management of data and information gathering.
Coordinate and manage local tax audits including support in providing appropriate documentation.
Support global tax projects on an ad-hoc basis or via virtual project management teams
Job Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Accountancy or equivalent
Certification in international taxation, transfer pricing by a reputable organisation;
Experience in an international tax consultancy with focus on international taxation
Experience from working for a tax authority in context of tax policy- and law-making;
Sound knowledge of international tax standards (OECD) and relevant tax laws;
Solution- driven personality able to act as a business partner, preferably with a track-record managing business rationalisation projects together with various stakeholders outside the tax and finance function;..
