Key Accountabilities:
·Proactive management of quote activity in order to maximise all potential new business opportunities to include:
·Identifying and agreeing cross quoting and alternative quote bases gaining the necessary broker commitment
·Using the daily Artesian report to research client activity to ensure the SC is fully appraised of the ongoing developments of their key clients
·Researching information and fact finding for large/mid cases and tender documents
·Targeted for the rebalancing of GL quotes where there is no GIP in place for the SC to position
·Identifying further opportunities to promote SPI.Securing Brokers own scheme or highlighting schemes that have high claims experience that can be quoted on
·Identify market trends and broker patterns year on year, understanding the buying cycles
·Positioning of the quote based on needs / drivers of the customer and competition involved and highlighting Unum’s unique selling points for the SC
·Agreeing application of BCD – working with the SC to maintain the required balance point
·Appointment making for the SC, meeting packs are put together to help identify all relevant hooks for the SC to present (SPI, Deepening, NTM GIP, RR)
·Identifying and managing small schemes deals or bespoke arrangements ensuring the agreed paperwork is signed and sent to the Strategic Partnership Team
·Supporting the Premier proposition and preparing basic tender reports ahead of a client meeting taking place
·Research and assist in the production of presentations using FOX and reports in order to support consultant activity to include Unum’s value proposition. Assist in local office projects that drive sales activity eg cross sell projects, mail shots production, local seminar/webinar activity, utilising to record this activity.
·Support the consultant in following up quotes and agreeing set parameters levels for each product.Ensure all quotes are followed up to maximise new business generation and capture information on of the outcome of quotes in order to gain valuable competitor / market information
·Own the ongoing management of working to develop this into full CRM systems to include:monthly projections/graded cases, pipeline, market feedback, trends and central marketing campaigns.
·Supporting all proactive post sales activities promoting the Welcome to Unum Pack and the enrolment of EAP.Organise and attend Implementation meetings as and when required to develop client relationships.
·Own all SEC activities.Proactive generation of SEC via Cross and Up Sales/Deepening campaigns and market intelligence.Using existing data to identify potential opportunities...
