HR Representative - MOHAWK Muskogee, OK, US

Job Details:
Performs various HR functions in support of compensation, benefits, staffing, record keeping, event coordinating and benefits utilizing HRIS, Kronos and other related tools.
*.Helps to maintain a safe, healthy and organized working environment for all areas.
*.Ensures all safety protocols throughout the plant are adhered too.
*.Follows the Quality Management System, certified to ISO 9001:2008 for operations & OHSAS 18001:2007 for Safety.
*.Provides Customer Support for all Associates regarding HR issues/needs.
*.Responsible for maintaining the time keeping system (Kronos) and other time recording systems.
*.Compiles, enters and maintains personnel records on the HRIS system, the time keeping system (Kronos), and in department personnel files that are accurate and consistent.
*.Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
*.Maintains and records employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, vacation, performance records and evaluations, and turnover data.
*.Creates and/or prepares information, reports, charts, and graphs for department and management use pertaining to employee turnover, new hires, promotions, etc. as needed.
*.Supports and assists in employee relation activities
*.Assists in preparation and dissemination of employee handbooks, newsletters, notices, orientation materials, and announcements.
*.Answers routine questions related to personnel administration and interprets policy where clear-cut procedures and rules exist.
*.Recruits, screens and interviews applicants.
*.Assist with the development of plans and programs for employee/management recognition and retention.
*.Participates, updates, and continually develops new hire orientation and other on boarding activities.
*.Initiates and leads employee activities and communications.
*.Audits employee personnel files and records for suitable content and legal compliance.
*.Contracts with outside suppliers to provide associate services.
*.Performs other related duties as required.
Education and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related area highly preferred. High School diploma or equivalent plus 3 year’s relevant HR experience. Knowledge of HR laws, regulations and industry preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to analyze and interpret data and develop and relate ideas. Ability to read and understand procedures. Strong computer skills in spreadsheets, chart, and word-processing. Strong oral and written communications skills. Basic math skills...
