HR Officer | Artan Holding Doha, Qatar

Job Details:
Reporting to the Assistant Manager at Artan Holding, the incumbent will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient Human Resource service that is aligned with the company and DBS goals. The incumbent will be expected to successfully implement and deliver an effective customer service to all stake holders.
Duties and Responsibilities
· The main responsibilities include the implementation of policies and implementation of procedures regarding talent management, job descriptions, employee relations, recruitment and selection, HR reporting and managing staff.
· To provide high quality advice and guidance pertaining to all HR matters to all Staff at both schools.
· To be the first point of contact for employees and to provide advice and support on HR related matters.
· To lead the HR function for all school staff: recruitment, maintenance of employment contracts, preparation of new employee orientation days, salaries, police checks, medicals, visas, and other related activities
· To maintain employees’ personal data in HR database and perform audits for data input.
· To prepare and update HR related documentation
· Ensure that all employee relations issues are identified, reported, and properly resolved
· Contribute to improvement initiatives for HR processes.
· Support the development of staff in order to enhance and optimize skills so that they are able to take on greater responsibilities.
· Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment and care.
· Ensure HR Policies and Procedures are reviewed and amendments recommended where necessary
· Analyze, evaluate and report results of performance assessments.
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:
· The ability to develop good personal relationships within a team
· High level of fluency in written and spoken English
· High level of IT competency
· Valid Qatar driving license
· Excellent organisational skills. Attention to detail. Self-driven. Good communicator. Good interpersonal skills. Positive outlook on life. Assertive nature. Logical thinker. High levels of initiative. Customer service orientated. Work independently, with a high degree of responsibility. Work well under pressure and to deadlines.
· A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University is essential.
· A Master’s degree from an accredited University (ideally specializing in HR) and/or a professional HR qualification is preferred.
