Job Details:
This is a key role within the Chief of Staff Office for CRES and GSSM, where the role holder is responsible for managing relationships and requirements with key stakeholders, including the CRES and GSSM Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Finance Business Partners (FBP) and HR Business Partners (HRBP) and supporting follow- the-sun operations (across US/UK/India /Singapore) for the team.
The role can be summarised as fulfilling Chief of Staff Office activities, such as financial and workforce related analysis and producing recommendations; approximately split 80% on supporting global requirements and 20% regionally- related activities.
The role holder will have worked in a global organisation, managed senior stakeholders and met changing demands. Relevant experience in cross- function relationship management, budget control and forecasting is essential
Key Accountabilities
The Role Holder Will Have The Following Accountabilities And Responsibilities
Global Chief of Staff Office Activities (80%)
*. Management of CRES and GSSM workforce planning, including provision of forecasts and execution against agreed targets. This will involve working closely with SLT and HRBP to achieve this
*. Supporting the management of CRES and GSSM financial planning (actuals, budget, forecast) and acting as key liaison with global FBP
*. Support Director managing Chief of Staff Office operations, with regards to adhoc requests and project initiatives during UK hours
*. Management of the Functional Risk Reporting requirement s, assisted by a team member based in India (Noida)
*. Management of Mandatory Leave Reporting and Compliance for CRES and GSSM, globally
*. Support the follow- the-sun business model in the Chief of Staff Office in terms of BAU activities and ad-hoc initiatives, ensuring there is appropriate follow-up and issue closure during UK hours and ensuring a full and proper handover to Asia-based colleagues, where required
*. Expected to represent CRES and GSSM Chief Of Staff Office at key decision making meetings during UK hours
Regional Chief of Staff Office Activities (20%)
*. Act as key Chief of Staff office liaison for UK colleagues, supporting them with regards to regional logistics (seating, on-boarding, technology etc)
*. Management of Business Continuity Process for the UK region/locati ons
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
The role holder will frequently interact with a range of internal stakeholders, such as the Chief of Staff for CRES and GSSM, HR Business Partner and Finance Business Partner. In addition, this interaction will extend to fellow team members in other regions, as well as CRES and GSSM colleagues who will seek adhoc guidance on colleague-related processes and policies.
