Business Development Manager – E Commerce | Eurohealth Systems United Arab Emirates

Job Details:
Largest healthcare provider in the GCC region is looking at setting up an Online arm for one of its verticals. This will be the first online portal of its kind in the region. This will be launched as a desktop version initially and the app will be launched by Oct 2016. Customers will be able to order and have their needs met within 12 hours.
The portal is expected to perform as below:
*.2000 customers / day by 31/03/2017
*.GP – 25%The role incumbent is responsible to expand the E-Commerce business by acquiring new brands, customers, devising various offers & schemes etc.
Key responsibilities:
1. Expansion of business to new territories
• Plan & devise methods to expand the business in UAE as well as in other territories.
• Identify potential territories for expansion of the business.
• Develop & execute online business plans to deliver sales results including maximising volume potential, increased merchandising effectiveness, brand share growth etc.
• Identify areas & events that stimulate awareness, purchase interest, boost relevance, loyalty & sales for brands. Collaborate with relevant team regarding new products / pages to be pushed.
2. Brand Acquisition
• Identify potential brands by studying the market dynamics.
• Responsible for bringing in approved brands in the portfolio within time frame.
• Watch industry trends to pin point new directions & ideas.
3. Customer Acquisition
• Responsible for Demand generation, nurturing leads, cultivating list of prospects close deals according to mutually agreed targets & sales quotas.
• Optimise customer journey by monitoring & taking action on key metrics such as website traffic, conversion & abandonment rates.
4. Marketing Communication
• Collaborate with branding to ensure the delivery & best content for our brands on the e-com platform
• Regular updating of the website to ensure latest creative, promotions and information available.
5. Offers & Schemes
• Plan & Devise strategies for various schemes & offers from time to time ensuring max revenue & profit generation.
• Liaison with higher management & respective authorities for on time approval of the schemes & offers & seasonal campaigns.
• Ensure on time implementation of the schemes & offers.
6. Collaboration with other business
• Collaborate with business units & authorities internal to Client as well as external to Client for maximum leverage for the business.
Basic Qualification:
Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Management
Minimum Experience:
Total 5-6 years (3-4 years in the similar field)
