Position Summary
The Level 2 System Engineer is responsible for delivering cloud data centre support to CloudRecover customers & escalating unsolved incidents and problems when required. This includes handling of requests via walk-in, phone, email and the web based service desk.
This position will report to the IT Operations & Support Manager to build, support & manage an enterprise class operational infrastructure and provide exceptional customer support.
Job Responsibilities
*.Provide contact and problem resolution for customers with hardware, software and applications problems. Resolve as many incidents as expertise permits using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases.
*.Act as a liaison between customers and internal staff to assure accurate problem interpretation.
*.Maintain communications with customers during the problem resolution process.
*.Assist in the day-to-day operation and performance of the Service Desk
*.Record incidents and resolutions using the Service Desk software
*.Monitor network dashboards for faults & escalate when required
*.Provide On-Site assistance at CloudRecover Data Centres when assigned
*.Assist in the maintenance of asset management registers and other record keeping activities.
*.Assist the IT Operations & Support Manager with project and to manage day to day operations when assigned
*.Review and update Help Desk documentation when assigned
*.Review and recommend modifications to procedures with the IT Operations & Support Manager.
*.Maintain an in-depth Knowledge of CloudRecover products & Services
Experience Requirments
*.Hyper-V and VMware vCenter
*.SCVMM 2012R2
*.Windows 2008/2012R2 MCP/MCSE
*.HP Hardware an advantage..
