Software Support Analyst- ACE Cash Express Irving, Texas USA

Job Details:
ACE Cash Express has a great full-time opportunity for a Software Support Analyst in our eCommerce Development Group. This person must be a highly motivated self-starter that excels in a collaborative environment. At ACE, we develop our own software and our Software Developers are essential to the company’s success. In this role you will support ACE’s software applications and collaborate with the development team. This position is essential in keeping our software applications running smoothly and supporting our internal & external customers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
*. Monitoring production support ticket system 24/7. Addressing or escalating issues as needed.
*. Troubleshoo ting & resolving common issues. When needed, escalating the issue to the appropriate party.
*. Researching & resolving reported data issues with existing ACE products.
*. Recommendi ng software changes to eliminate future support issues.
*. Develop processes and procedure to streamline support and eliminate repetitive issues.
*. Contribute to the support of mission- critical applications.
*. Work with QA resources throughout the software development lifecycle & post production support.
*. When not supporting customers, completing tasks as assigned.
*. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (or related field of study) or equivalent work experience.
*. Experience working with a software development team either as a developer, QA Analyst, or support role. Software development experience is a big plus but not a requirement.
*. Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues.
· Basic knowledge of platforms: Windows; Programming languages: C#, ASP.NET; Database platforms: SQL Server, DB2.
*. Excellent verbal and written communicati on, problem solving and time management skills.
*. Familiar with Agile development methodologi es (SCRUM, Kanban).
*. Ability to perform job responsibiliti es off hours by utilizing support iPhone and laptop.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is occasionally required to stand, walk, use the hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, and may occasionally lift heavy objects. Must have appropriate vision to see up close, and at a distance with ability to adjust vision and focus. Must be able to talk. May require some overtime and will require conducting job duties outside of normal business hours.
