Job Details:
Reporting to the Nominated Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ca r ry out preventive maintenance tasks on on-l i ne equipment.
• Carry out work as directed , monitor and mainta i n the hea l th of the
• Instrument Equipment associated within assigned area of the plant.
• Identify common failures and their causes, troubleshoot and make recommenda t ions fo r corrective act i on .
• Provides acc u rate maintenance history and closeout reports of all comple t ed work as per company requirements.
• Lead and supports other disciplines in the troubleshooting and fault finding o f equipment.
• Ensure compliance at all times with the Company Environmental Hea l th and Safety Procedu r es, as well as occupat i ona l hea lt h and safety regulat i ons : sim i l arly compliance w i th security .
• Mark VNI control systems for Gas Turb i nes.
• Burner management systems on boilers and furnaces.
• Emergency Shutdown systems.
• Control valves, solenoids, flow, temperature, level, pressure etc. switches.
• Smart transmitters.
• Vibration monitoring systems.
• Programmable logic control , T MR, triconix and DCS.
• Instrument tubing, Cabling and protection.
• UPS and Battery chargers.
Job Requirements
A number of years instrument and control maintenance experience in a diversified oil and gas- processing environment or petro-chemical process plant including time as spent in a Supervisory or Lead Technician role.
Knowledge of modern test equipment, monitoring and testing of control systems.
Intimate knowledge of reading and interpretation of schematic, logic, P & I drawings,
Should be conversant with the terms of specifications of Hazardous locations as well as statutory inspections, maintenance and repair of such equipment
Instrument or Electrical based apprenticeship training, which should be a three to five year vocational credential.
HNC \ HND qualified.
Computer literate with knowledge of SAP and commonly used Microsoft business software packages.
A strong focus on safety is paramount and practical know-how of permit to work systems and lock out procedures applicable to LNG / Petrochemical plants is required.
Request work permits as per company EHS policy.
HSE awareness in H2S and explosive environment
Good written and oral communicat i on skills in English.
Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
Good adaptability to multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs...
