Retail Design Manager | Westfield - #London, United Kingdom

Job Details:
You will need to work collaboratively alongside the Asset Team, including Centre Management, Leasing, Project Management and Design & Construction teams to deliver the vision of Westfield’s aspiration via the design approval and retail delivery process.
In this role, you will be…
• Initiate contact and meet with Retailers and their design teams to discuss Westfield’s design criteria and clarify the retail delivery processes (new shop openings & existing shop upgrades).
• Share and discuss proposed designs with key stakeholders within WSL and obtain required approvals.
• Collaborate with Retailer’s design team to achieve compliance with Westfield’s design standards.
• Review concept design & detail design drawings and ensure compliance to Westfield design criteria are met (in a timely manner).
• Track design delivery and provide status reports to key stakeholders.
• Audit process and procedures and results from time to time.
• Occasionally review and update design criteria (guidelines) to reflect current trends within retail design.
• Generate new design criteria as required.
• Keep abreast of current retail & technology trends
We’re looking for someone with…
• Extensive experience in retail & restaurant design
• Strong design & sketching skills as well as competency with CS6 and 3D design packages – we will expect this to be demonstrable during the selection process.
• To be a team player – maintaining close working relationships with all other employees of the business to assist in the facilitation of projects will be key
• A fast and responsive attitude with the ability to hit strict deadlines
