Job Details:
Train with Finance Executive to Review Budgets and EFC for 1hour and ½ pilots, series, Movies of the Week, Mini Series, Specials and Late night formats. Assist Finance Executives to manage, facilitate and train all Production Accountants. Work with Finance Executive to understand and execute all tax incentive programs. Identify production cost savings techniques. Update and Maintain current cost information through the ABC Studios Financials program, Budget Tracker and attendance to several operational production meetings throughout the week.
Responsibilities *.Review all Budget and EFC in all formats *.​Supervise and support Production Accounting staff *.Update and Maintain ABC Studios data (Consolidated Prod Status & Budget Tracker *.Assist Finance Executives with production tax and labor incentive programs *.Support Production Accountant and help resolve show level production accounting issues and corp. payment issues. *.Attend production related meetings and offer input when necessary *.Work with Production Executives to manage and facilitate show needs. *.Work with Finance Executives and Legal Department to facilitate ATL payments and deal making *.Interact with labor relations to resolve labor issues *.Follow and confirm successful accounting closure on assigned projects *.Manage all SAP interfaces and reconciliation process. *.Review and administrate company policy and procedures. *.Devise and recommend cost cutting measures *.Participate in Weekly Production meetings and Production Executive meetings to better understand current projects and offer financial process assistance when necessary *.Interview Production Accountants for assigned projects *.Review corporately paid cost through SAP *.Assist Finance Executives in the preparation of various analysis i.e Shutdown, Back 9 comparisons, EFC variances
Basic Qualifications *.Minimum 2 years production accounting experience *.Managerial abilities *.Organization skills *.Working knowledge of industry union and guild rates and regulations *.Oral and written communication skills *.Positive attitude and strong work ethic *.Ability to multi-task *.Ability to problem solve complex and timely production issues *.Familiarity with all levels of talent contract *.Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws *.MMB Budget skills *.Working knowledge of Industry Production Accounting software PSL, Vista etc. *.Software Knowledge: Excel, Word..
