Job Details:
This role, reports directly to the General Manager at InterContinental Lagos. As the Conference and Event Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing the profit of the hotel by overseeing all aspects of Conference and Events at the Hotel, you would be responsible for developing and managing functions and events as well as marketing and promoting bar, catering and function products. Direct day-to-day sales activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict, improve team member performance, and recognize good performance. Educate, train and motivate sales and marketing teams to achieve hotel revenue goals.
Qualifications 1.Bachelor's Degree/Higher National Diploma in Hotel Management and/or other relevant disciplines 2.Minimum of 10 years' relevant work experience, 5 of which must be at senior / management level 3.A good team leader and player 4.Good knowledge of the hospitality industry 5.Master's degree and relevant professional qualifications are added advantage..
