Job Details:
Maersk Line are in the process of accelerating and expanding the capability of their online channel having recently launched a new, improved and multi-branded online website. They are now undertaking an activity to transform the architecture to one that is “always on” evolving the technology, architecture, processes and tooling.
Part of this vision will be to create an IT Webmaster function to own, maintain, govern and optimise the online features ensuring that they align to the “always on” vision.
A vacancy exists for an online webmaster with proven technical feature-level ownership of functionality on the website. The job holder will have complete accountability for a number of online features and have technical ownership and responsibility for governing their development, deployment, maintenance and optimisation working across both IT and business functions.
The role will involve;

Bringing industry leading webmaster principles that can be applied to high-traffic high revenue digital channels
*.
Working closely with project teams to transition new/changed services into operation
*.
Using analytics to prioritise change, either to drive those with the most value or proactive change reducing risk to production
*.
Maintaining a detailed architectural understanding of the features, top-to-bottom, from user experience through to systems of record
*.
Close working with the Development/Test function throughout the continuous delivery pipeline
*.
Alignment with Application Management function ensuring that any changes are risk assessed and ensuring features continue to comply with “always on” reference architectures as they evolve
*.
Working with the business site owner on optimisation initiatives
*.
Governance of development in line with the online standards
*.
Supporting incident management and problem management with service restoration and root cause analysis
*.
Driving proactive maintenance and change required to reduce risk to the featuresWorking closely with product owners and vendors on a pipeline of continuous improvement
*.
Online feature level ownership of the technological solution
*.
24/7/365 incident support for a number of online features
*.
Using analytical tooling to understand how features are performing and to drive proactive change to improve or reduce risk
*.
Governance and control at a feature level of all change planned for deployment onto the platform
*.
Vendor & stakeholder managementForming a team with other Webmasters to build flexibility of support
*.
BA degree in design related subject, or equivalent practical experience
*.
Experience of Always On or highly available architecture design and governance
*.
5+ years in leading and governing a mature online technical team in a fast pace online function
*.
Experience working on high traffic B2C or B2B websites

Experience working on CMS driven websites..
