Vendor Compliance Analyst (Retail Supply Chain) | Pet Smart Phoenix, AZ, US

Job Details:
This position is responsible for monitoring and analyzing vendor performance through the company's vendor compliance program and being the key contact for the vendor community on chargeback related questions. This includes monitoring key performance metrics, identifying/ communicating potential problem areas and working with Vendor Management to improve vendor performance. This position partners with teams members within Transportation, Distribution, Vendor Management, Finance, Legal, and Merchandising to ensure strategic company initiatives are successful.
Essential Functions:
*.Maintains vendor compliance system and is the key business unit owner of compliance data and providing vendors support related to chargebacks and disputes
*.Monitors, analyzes and identifies vendor compliance trends/issues. Measures compliance, identifies trends and partners with internal Vendor Management Partners to create action plans for resolution. Participates in the development and communication of vendor supply chain standards in order to support supply chain efficiency.
*.Partners with internal teams to identify productivity initiatives, cost impacts, and service enhancements across the Supply Chain to create efficiencies.
*.Communicates and builds relationships with Transportation, Distribution, Replenishment, Vendor Management, Merchandising departments, and the Vendor Community.
*.Summarizes data in presentation ready format to communicate with leaders and other teams.

Experience/Education
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
*.Requires Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Replenishment, Logistics, Business, or equivalent experience. Requires proficiency typically obtained with 2+ years experience in corporate role.
Knowledge and Skills:
*.Requires solid analytical skills, an ability to partner with cross functional teams to solve complex problems and high level of accountability to ensure adherence to compliance program.
*.Candidate must have strong human relations skills to build positive relationships with team, other departments and outside suppliers.
*.Listens attentively and responds in a sensitive and appropriate manner, treating all with respect and dignity.
*.Requires written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate information to all levels of leadership.
*.Requires ability to manage multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment.
*.Requires strong organization and ability to prioritize work in fast paced work environment.
*.Must be able to work on a team as well as independently
Technical Skills
*.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, SAP and other systems as required.
*.Working knowledge of Supply Chain systems such as EDI, Manhattan, WMS TLMS
