IT - Business Systems Analyst | Werner Co. Greenville, Pennsylvania

Job Details:
This IT position is responsible for supporting the day to day manufacturing operations of a global manufacturing company. Also for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed systems, producing requirements documents for various business development activities, training and supporting users. Responsibilities of the job also include ensuring data integrity and participating in data quality control and validation. This position also includes working with internal customers on how to efficiently utilize technology in supporting the business. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity. This position will report to the Information Systems Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS)This self-motivated individual will provide support for, but not limited to, the following areas:

*.A solid understanding of production planning and scheduling, work orders, inventory transactions, shop floor data collection, cycle counts, and manufacturing master data files.
*.Evaluate user requests for new or modified applications to determine feasibility, costs, time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities.
*.Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
*.Designs new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
*.Improves systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.
*.Assisting and working with high level senior business analysts and users
*.Provides references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
*.Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
*.Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
*.Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures.
*.Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
*.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
*.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Required:

*. Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
*.3 - 5 years’ experience with Oracle Enterprise 1 Manufacturing (JDE) or experience with other Manufacturing ERP packages.
*.Some travel will be required.
