Business Development Representative | PFSweb Europe London

Job Details:
The BDR works collaboratively with sales, strategy and marketing colleagues to acquire new business relationships and develop those relationships though the sales process. The BDR is in charge of the identifiying, contacting and qualifying leads to support outside sales activities. The BDR may have to participate to other sales support function as may be assigned.
Key Responsibilities

Identifies and qualifies leads through online research and initial phone meetings

Conducts extensive telesales and email corresponde nce
*.
Set up qualifying call/teleconfe rence
*.
Uncovers opportunitie s to upsell
*.
Forms new and collaborates with existing partnership representativ es on prospect lists and market trends
*.
Conducts research via social media, press releases and conducts email marketing initiatives
*.
Identifies new ways to approach target markets by leveraging partner channel relationships
*.
Works with partner organization s to target new prospects
*.
Ensures the leads database is up to date and shows the progression of each opportunity
*.
Participates to the Sales & Marketing prospecting events
Skills/Experience /Profile
*.
Bachelor with sales/admini strative orientation;
*.
Must demonstrate a passion for driving meaningful client engagement s between partners and organization
*.
Proven success establishing new relationships with e-commerce providers or within the retail industry a strong plus
*.
The successful incumbent in this role demonstrate s excellent communicati on, prospecting skills - ideally in an emerging market, is self-driven, motivated and results oriented, possesses exceptional business acumen and demonstrate s the ability to socialize and network successfully and consistently. This role also requires the ability to leverage partner organization s and cross- functional team members in sales progression effectively.

Experience in a similar function in international trade;

Able to fluently communicat e (verbal and written) in English, French and ideally in other European languages;

Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint… );

Prepared for occasional travels in Europe...
