RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
The Scheduler is an integral member of the Product Acquisition and Deployment team responsible for schedule management through the entire program / project life cycle to include but not limited to project planning, product acquisition, and product retirement / disposal.
Work effectively both independently and in a team based environmentto develop schedules that include but are not limited to a listing of a portfolio, program, or project’s milestones, activities, and deliverables, with intended start and finish dates, estimated by other information included in the project schedule of resource allocation, budget, task duration, and linkages of dependencies and scheduled events, which may or may not be related to the work breakdown structure (WBS) terminal elements, the Statement of work, or a Contract Data Requirements List, while taking account the possibly conflicting schedule requirements of the various stakeholders.
Under supervision assists and develops operational and functional schedules through rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis. Conducts planning, research, production, and review for related acquisition documents and other studies.
Perform other duties as assigned to include:

Lead project team members in the development of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and other schedule related parameters for assigned programs / projects.

Create, implement and maintain schedules for identified projects.

Setup, implement and maintain project schedule related key performance indicators (KPIs).

Interact with various project teams to maintain detailed schedule information and identification of variances from original plan.

Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas.
*.
Assist program / project team to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on program / project progress.

Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around.

Participate with other stake-holder team members to maintain efficient and effective change management processes, procedures and systems.

Participate with other stake-holder team members to disseminate project management processes and tools throughout the Systems Engineering Support Program.

Attend meetings and assist with determination of project requirements.

Reporting about the current status of schedule management as and when required.

Track the progress and quality of work being performed by program / project.

Identify and understand as how to meet customer scheduling expectations.
