Sales Engineer Lodging Systems - MEA-O | DORMA United Arab Emirates

Job Details:
Assigned to drive the sales activity in a multi-country emerging market within the Middle East and Africa Region, the position holder will take ownership for promoting and selling dorma+kaba lodging systems and solutions to achieve short-term sales objectives and long-term growth plans. The jobholder has to identify, develop, maintain relationships with partners, pursue sales leads, promote products, conclude orders, and to collaborate at a regional level with cross-functional teams to drive strong and sustainable profitable results within the assigned market. The jobholder should be able to compile sales reports and forecasts and provide documentation as requested, and competently represent our lodging products in industry conferences, trade shows and events.
The Successful Applicant
• Bachelor’s degree – preferably in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 2-3 years of commercial experience in lodging/hotel systems , IT solutions OR Electronic Access control, gained particularly within the hospitality sector.
• Capable of selling, designing, generating bills of materials and running POCs.
• Must have a successful history of managing and growing sales revenues.
• Proven taken record in balancing technical and commercial requirements and constraints
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent command of English language – Arabic is a distinct advantage.
• Dynamic and able to travel across the GCC/Levant areas.
• Work well independently to tight deadlines, self-motivated, and takes initiative.
