PROJECT MANAGER – RETAIL – CENTRAL LONDON - £60K-£65K PER ANNUM PLUS CAR ALLOWANCE OF £3600 PLUS BONUS AND BENEFITS
My client is one the UK’s largest, multi-channel retail company’s. They are based in Central London and they are seeking a Project Manager from a Retail background and strong experience of an Oracle implementation.
The Project Manager will be responsible for successful planning delivery of projects and support the transition to Service operation. The role will ensure internal resources, third party suppliers and business stakeholders are aligned and operating to a common set of priorities and objectives in delivering a complex set of changes to internal and third party IT systems.
This position will be working on an Oracle (Merchandise Operations Management) deployment to create a single view of stock by merging their online and offline in stock system’s.
This role is to work within a Matrix Environment.
The Project Manager will manage all elements of the IT Project’s Governance, Delivery, communications throughout the Project lifecycle and transition to internal or external support organisations. They will be responsible for successful project delivery, directly and matrix managing a number of internal delivery resource and key software, infrastructure and business suppliers. They will liaise directly with a number of senior stakeholders. They will need to proactively manage all issues and risks in order to deliver to specific timelines and quality criteria.
Experience Required
•PMP, Prince2 or equivalent;
•Strong experience of an Oracle implementation within Retail and/or experience of MOM/RMS/MOS/SIM and/or retail stock systems experience or Merchandising experience
•Proven experience at managing complex, IT change projects including managing concurrent projects across application and infrastructure delivery
•Extensive experience of using a structured project management approach e.g. PMP, Prince2 or equivalent;
•Experience of running project definition workshops, managing complex scoping issues and managing multiple senior stakeholders;
•Proven ability to plan and organise large numbers of individuals and teams from multiple organisations in order to achieve objectives and targets
•Ability to identify and manage issues and risks in a structured way
•Strong previous experience of delivering complex projects in a creative and fast paced multichannel retail environment
•Experience of managing both local and offshore third party suppliers
•Experience of operating with a high level of autonomy and the ability to manage others delivery to agreed timescales
