OrthoCarolina is seeking an energetic, friendly Patient Services Specialist to be responsible for greeting patients, preparing forms, collecting insurance information, and verifying patient information in a timely and accurate manner. This position is also responsible for cross-training in patient check-in and check-out. Our Patient Services Specialists provide superior customer service to our patients and guests. Additional duties may include scheduling or re-scheduling appointments, answering phones, overseeing patient waiting area and maintaining an appropriate patient flow.
Position is full-time; Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
Experience in front-office MEDICAL setting is highly preferred. Superior customer service skills are required! Must have experience with computer systems, medical systems is highly preferred (i.e. Centricity). Knowledge of medical terminology and medical billing is also preferred.

Requirements
Education required:
* High school graduate
* Associate s or Bachelor s degree preferred.
Experience required:
* Prefer minimum of one year experience in medical clinic setting.
* Good customer and computer skills and working knowledge of insurance.
* Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Specific skills, knowledge and abilities required:
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
* Ability to perform basic math calculations.
