Job Details:
As a co-prime sales rep, primary responsibility is the achievement of revenue targets and key metrics for Oracle Management Cloud assigned to him/her.
Having had a solid experience in the IT Operations management space, provide sales domain leadership in ITOM solutions to open new doors in existing customers and new market segments.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
· Own the business plan & be responsible for all aspects of the Oracle Management Cloud business in his/her assigned region: Pipeline creation, Opportunity management to closure & reference. Ensure the ecosystem (Marketing, Alliances & Channels, Oracle Direct, Oracle Consulting, Customer reference team etc.) is aligned & executing towards the OMC business plan.
· Manage, drive and provide guidance on region specific objectives of overall Oracle Management Cloud business Plan combining all major components of business development and market leadership including Marketing, Sales, Services, Partners and Strategic Investments for execution. Track and present performance against plan through regular reviews to appropriate Management and Stakeholders.
· Prospect, develop and lead maximum business opportunity/pipeline for Oracle Management Cloud balancing the strategic wins with transactional business.
· Be a ITOM Sales domain leader and evangelize new ways of selling the Oracle Management Cloud services to existing customers and new market segments.
· Enable Field & OD sales teams & identified partners to have OMC services related conversations with customers.
· Establish, support and drive key strategic Sales Programs around Oracle Management Cloud as a part of the business plan.
· Establish and drive successful relationships and business engagement with key Partners and SI’s.
· Act as spokesperson on IT Operations Management while promoting Oracle Management Cloud services (3 to start with; Application Performance Monitoring Cloud Service, Log Analytics Cloud service, IT Analytics Cloud Service)
RELEVANT TRAINING and EXPERIENCE
Essential:
· 8+ years of specific sales experience in IT Operations Management solutions from leading vendors in this space. Preference would be from given to candidates having experience on multiple solutions from Splunk, Apps Dynamics, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, IBM, HP, BMC, CA.
· 8+ years of experience positioning, demonstrating and articulating the benefits and business value proposition of IT Operations Management solutions.
· Track record of successful sales experience; selling and engaging at an Executive level
· Very high level of communication, interpersonal skills and all-round business acumen
· Self-motivator with the ability to work independently (as required) and across virtual teams
· Ability to travel extensively
