Inside Technical Sales/Account Manager | Senior Operations, Metal Bellows San Francisco Bay

We are expanding our Inside Sales/Account Manager team and are currently seeking a qualified candidate, whose background and career goals meet our business requirements. This recruitment has been initiated due to current company growth, projected growth plans, and the number of opportunities that have arisen.
JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Sales & Contracts Manager, overall responsibility for the management of assigned customers/accounts including analysis of cost issues, providing customer quotations, and closing on the quotation or opportunity. Responsible for all specific facets of a customer relationship from first inquiry through the life of the product (relationship, seller/buyer relationship)
Essential Elements:
• Coordinate the qualification and generation of quotations and proposals. Develop detailed, accurate pricing proposal and coordinate bid strategy; and follow up to successfully close proposal with the Business Development Team.
• Keep informed of related customer activities to meet internal monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasts. Maintain accurate business forecasts on repeat programs and new development programs.
• Work with the Business Development Team regarding technical and business related issues to develop new applications and opportunities with customers, review inquiry status and coordinate customer strategies.
• Conduct negotiations with the customer and ensure the orders are booked in accordance with the terms and conditions of sales with Company polices and guidelines.
• Coordinate document control Customer Document Review Request (CDRR).
• Provide account analysis information to determine future growth and new product development strategies and opportunities with customer(s).
• Function as liaison communicating customers' technical/application requirements to internal business functions to provide timely output back to customer. Attend regularly-scheduled Production meetings.
• Manage the internal process for “new product development” project from Inquiry to Production.
• Manage the flow of documentation from customers to internal functions/departments (websites, portals, faxes, etc.). Initiate stop/start orders.
• Facilitate customer requests for warranty and returns authorization. This support would include coordinating repair and replacement orders for these parts
• Ensure compliance to all export licensing and ITAR regulations.
• Occasional travel to customer facilities to discuss potential business and/or review existing order status.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three years account management/technical sales experience. Engineering background preferred.
• Demonstrated work experience in contract review, terms and conditions, and negotiation (familiarity of Federal Acquisition Regulations preferred)..
