Digital Strategic Planning: The Director, Digital Marketing will take the lead in developing an integrated digital marketing plan for Northwestern Medicines web sites and digital branded environments (including eCRM strategy, social media strategy, and Search Engine Marketing). They will work closely with the Chief Marketing Executive and Director Brand Management to ensure optimal overall brand positioning, architecture and visual identity.
Online Brand Development: The Director, Digital Marketing will leverage a wide range of digital tools as their team contributes to building awareness, equity, and preference for the Northwestern Medicine brand, as measured through periodic (quarterly, annual) brand tracking studies, brand health measurements, and patient satisfaction scores.
Customer Engagement & Acquisition: Using a variety of digital tools (SEO, SEM, E-Mail Marketing, Video, Display, Retargeting, Social, Affiliates) and programs, the Director, Digital Marketing will leverage the power of these channels to seek out and engage prospective patients, ensure ready access, engage them, and convert them to new patients.
Drive New Offering Engagement: Leveraging a variety of digital marketing tools and tactics, the Director will support new product introductions and product enhancements, including patient engagement with new mobile apps. The Director will work closely with the Strategy team in developing plans.
Online & Mobile Customer Experience: Working very closely with IT partners and their assets, the Director will continually research and identify opportunities to enhance Northwestern Medicines desktop, tablet and mobile customer experience, executing design, and content that continues to optimize that patient experience and drive conversion and acquisition. Works with others in department to define and execute digital marketing plans. Manages agency resources as necessary to execute digital strategy. Keeps up to date on latest trends in the digital space, within healthcare and in adjacent categories. Serves as a key leader for the Marketing and Communications team and a member of the Department Leadership Team, providing leadership, coaching and mentoring to all in the department. Qualifications
Required:
*. Bachelors degree in marketing, business, advertising or digital marketing related field.
*. A minimum of 10 years management experience in the field, with recent experience developing and activating digital marketing and brand management plans.
